Thank you for your interest in BalanceWear and Motion Therapeutics!
Our BalanceWear Vest is a custom weighted vest that helps people with loss of postural control and loss of balance regardless of the underlying neurologic or orthopedic cause. It is a research-based technology proven to help balance.
To get fitted with BalanceWear, patients need to visit a BalanceWear Trained Clinician.
Please send us an email ( john@motiontherapeutics.com) where you are located and we are going to send you the nearest clinician(s) in your area. Our clinicians are located in the USA and we also have a partner from Denmark.

Please have your doctor sign the prescription and take the prescription to the BalanceWear-trained clinician.
Most clinicians require an additional order for physical or occupational therapy as well.

Once you are assessed by the clinician, the therapist determines which BalanceWear Orthotic and the amount of weights that are required for you. It can take approximately three weeks before BalanceWear is delivered to your home.
Do not apply the weights to the garment.
Only the clinician who did the assessment should weigh the new device.
If you feel that you are less balanced with BalanceWear immediately discontinue use and contact the clinician to reconfigure the weight placement.
In some cases, individuals will need readjustments of the weight. The body may learn from wearing the weights and may not require as much weight to balance you. If your condition has worsened over time, you may need more weights.
Prior to getting your vest adjusted, take the vest off for 4 days. Make sure to be careful when up without the vest.
