Agnes is a retired school teacher with multiple sclerosis who researches the internet to find ways to help herself. She recently learned about BalanceWear. She contacted Motion Therapeutics and was given five contacts to go to and have a BalanceWear assessment.
She went to Florida Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation for a BalanceWear assessment and treatment from Aimee Flores Jasper, DPT and followed-up with Susan Thorne-Barrett, PT. Now that she has her own BalanceWear she is attending Gold Zumba!
“Right away I knew I could walk faster. In Gold Zumba you work at your own pace. I had tried Zumba before but was unable to do it because I was too unstable. BalanceWear allows me to walk sideways, turn around, helps my posture, and keeps me more balanced. BalanceWear keeps me active and allows me to participate better. I love the fact I can walk faster and feel stable to the ground.”
