Nick Froiseth, DPT at Bodies in Balance Physical Therapy

February 13, 2023

Nicholas Froiseth DPTNick Froiseth, DPT

Balance Wear has become an integral component to the care I provide for people with balance concerns.  A primary rehabilitative goal for people I treat with balance issues is to improve safety and reduce fall risk.  I have found the inclusion of Balance Wear to a physical therapy plan of care can often enhance patient outcomes.

There have been various diagnoses that I have seen experience successful outcomes with Balance Wear including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Neuropathies, Concussion, Cerebellar Ataxia and many others.  I have had the pleasure of collaborating with some charitable organizations that have assisted some clients financially be able to obtain this medical device such as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

I have presented case studies demonstrating the efficacy of Balance Wear on multiple platforms including The Huntington’s Study Group and the Combined Section’s Meeting.  I’ve also guest lectured at Stony Brook University to familiarize Physical Therapy students on this evaluative and treatment option.  Starting in 2019, I’ve accepted a position with Balance Wear to become one of their trainers for continuing education as well as a consultant for people interested in trialing this device and for other clinicians wanting to trial this device for their clients.
